As the thirteenth national parliamentary election approaches, BNP Joint Secretary General and Dhaner Sheesh đžânominated candidate for Mymensingh-1 (HaluaghatâDobaura), Syed Emran Saleh Prince, has intensified his election campaign, asserting that voting for the Dhaner Sheesh đž will bring an end to long-standing neglect and deprivation faced by the people of the constituency. Speaking at a series of campaign meetings, rallies, and street gatherings held across different areas of Haluaghat, he stated that for years the residents of Mymensingh-1 have suffered discrimination and exploitation under the guise of development, while their rightful claims have been consistently ignored. Prince emphasized that the only viable path to changing the fate of the region lies in voting for the Dhaner Sheesh đž and bringing the BNP to state power. He noted that under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, a BNP-led government would restore democracy, establish the rule of law, and reinstate the peopleâs fundamental right to vote. Highlighting his vision for the constituency, Emran Saleh Prince said that if elected, he would transform HaluaghatâDobaura into a planned, modern, and enlightened region by prioritizing education, healthcare, agriculture, and employment generation, with a special focus on creating opportunities for the youth. He further outlined key commitments, including ensuring fair prices for farmers, guaranteeing just wages for workers, setting up industrial units, reducing unemployment, promoting tourism, improving road and transport infrastructure, establishing rail connectivity with Mymensingh, building a society free from drugs and terrorism, and upholding equal rights for people of all religions and ethnic backgrounds. Prince stressed that a BNP government would eliminate all forms of discrimination and work for everyone beyond partisan affiliations. As a representative elected by the peopleâs mandate, he pledged to remain accountable to the electorate and to implement development initiatives based on public consultation. The strong public turnout and positive response during his campaign activities reflected growing confidence in the Dhaner Sheesh đž symbol, which many observers see as a sign of increasing support and expectation for meaningful political change in the constituency.
