After the early setback, the partnership between Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Najmul Hossain Shanto took complete control of the match. The duo built a brisk partnership and reached fifty runs for the second wicket in only 38 balls, shifting momentum firmly in Bangladesh’s favor. Tanzid played aggressively while Shanto anchored the innings with calculated strokes. Tanzid eventually reached his fifth career half-century and remained unbeaten on a brilliant 67 off 42 balls, while Shanto contributed 27 runs from 33 deliveries before being dismissed. With the match already in Bangladesh’s grasp, Litton Das joined Tanzid to finish the chase comfortably. Bangladesh reached the target in just 15.1 overs, losing only two wickets, leaving 209 balls remaining and sealing a commanding victory. The comprehensive win gave Bangladesh a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and highlighted the team’s strong form and confidence. Nahid Rana’s destructive bowling combined with Tanzid Tamim’s aggressive batting turned the match into a one-sided contest, leaving fans delighted and setting the tone for what could be a highly competitive series ahead.
