Ali Mamud, a journalist with the daily newspaper Dainik Dinakal and a member of BNP Media Cell, was found dead on Tuesday morning (10 February) at the National Press Club in Dhaka. According to police, his body was recovered from the Press Club’s restroom after the door was forcibly opened in the presence of his family. Initial reports suggest that he passed away due to a cardiac-related incident. Photos and information were collected from the scene. Police officials and family members inspected the site, and further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
