Nomination papers on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman are being submitted today for the Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 constituencies in the 13th National Parliamentary Election. He is set to formally launch his election campaign from Sylhet.
Senior party leaders are scheduled to submit the nomination papers at the respective returning officers’ offices in Dhaka and Bogura on the same day.
Sylhet Visit and Religious Observances
As part of the campaign launch, Tarique Rahman will visit Sylhet later this week. During the visit, he will pay respects at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and Hazrat Shah Paran (R).
Party insiders indicate that he may stay for several days in Sylhet and Bogura, considering both political relevance and personal connections to the regions.
