Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has stated that the country is moving forward with the vision of building a “new Bangladesh” and that the government is actively working to achieve this goal. He said the nation is being led by party chairman and current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who, according to him, has quickly established a strong position among the people.

Speaking to journalists at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday morning, he said that the new leadership has already begun implementing its plans and that its working methods reflect a commitment to change.

Mirza Fakhrul emphasized that the government’s objective goes beyond administrative adjustments; it aims to build a just, development-oriented state. Gaining public trust is being treated as a top priority. He highlighted the importance of administrative reform, good governance, and maintaining the momentum of development initiatives in the current national context.

He further noted that young leadership is playing a significant role in shaping the country’s future direction. According to him, government programs and initiatives are designed with public welfare in mind. Achieving visible positive change, he said, requires political stability and continuity in policy implementation.

Responding to questions, he reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling public expectations. He stressed the need for transparency and accountability in development projects while also calling for political tolerance.

He described the vision of a new Bangladesh not merely as a slogan but as part of a long-term strategic plan. Active participation of the younger generation and sustained public support, he said, are essential for realizing this vision.

His remarks reflected confidence in the party’s leadership and optimism about future plans, with indications that more detailed policy outlines would be shared later.
