The government has stated that it is closely monitoring individuals and groups attempting to spread doubt, confusion, and fear surrounding the upcoming election and referendum, noting that the successful and peaceful execution of three major nationwide mass events in recent times has significantly strengthened confidence in the capability and preparedness of law enforcement agencies, leaving no reasonable ground for unnecessary concerns about the electoral process; it was further emphasized that voter participation has shown encouraging signs, with postal voting receiving an unprecedented response and more than 1.5 million voters registering through online platforms, many of whom will be unable to attend polling centers in person due to official and essential duties, highlighting the growing effectiveness of alternative voting mechanisms; the government also reaffirmed its strong stance in favor of the ‘Yes’ vote in the referendum, stating that transparent communication and informed public engagement remain central to enabling voters to make conscious decisions; regarding security arrangements, it was revealed that approximately 70 percent of law enforcement personnel assigned to election duties have already completed their training, with remaining preparations underway, alongside enhanced field-level coordination, intelligence surveillance, risk-based area assessment, and contingency planning, reflecting the government’s confidence in its ability to conduct a peaceful, neutral, and credible election.
