The chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force are holding a meeting with the Election Commission (EC). The meeting began on Sunday afternoon at the Election Building in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Chaired by the Chief Election Commissioner, the meeting is being attended by other election commissioners. Discussions focus on the overall law and order situation ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum.
Key agenda items include reviewing pre-election law and order conditions, recovering illegal weapons, preventing terrorist activities through joint forces, and ensuring compliance with the electoral code of conduct.
Another coordination meeting on these issues is scheduled to be held at the EC Secretariat later in the afternoon.
