BNP-nominated “Dhanner Sheesh” candidate for Dhaka-16 constituency and Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, Mr. Aminul Haque, said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is the only party with clear and concrete plans for education and employment of the young generation. He alleged that Jamaat is misleading the public through falsehood and deception.
On Thursday, the eighth day of the election campaign, during door-to-door outreach in the slum area of T-Block in Mirpur Section-6, he further claimed that Jamaat activists are collecting National Identity Card (NID) information and bKash numbers from households, raising concerns over potential vote rigging.
Mr. Aminul Haque stated that under the guidance of BNP’s Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, the party is maintaining tolerance and expects a free, fair, and neutral election. He expressed hope that if a fair election is held on the 12th, conscious voters of the country will respond to all conspiracies through the ballot and ensure victory for the “Dhanner Sheesh” symbol.
He called upon the public to remain alert against propaganda and conspiracies surrounding the upcoming election.
He also said that although some isolated incidents have occurred in certain areas, there are attempts to exaggerate those events in order to cast doubt on the election process.
